Yes. To ensure your eSIM has the best coverage, you should activate data roaming in your phone's settings. This won't incur any additional charges, as long as you've already set up your eSIM.
What speed will I get with my eSIM?
With your mieSIM eSIM, you can connect at 4G, LTE, and 5G speeds just like any local data line. However, keep in mind that in remote areas or areas with poor coverage, your mobile may connect at lower speeds.
Can I keep my WhatsApp number?
Yes, you'll keep your WhatsApp number with all your conversations and contacts. You can use it as usual.
When will I receive my eSIM?
Once you make your payment, we'll send your Holafly eSIM to the email address you entered during checkout. Say goodbye to waiting for a physical SIM card in the mail.

Can I make calls and send SMS messages with my MieSIM eSIM?
Unfortunately, it's not possible to make calls, send SMS messages, or receive SMS messages. However, with eSIM mobile data, you can still use instant messaging apps like WhatsApp or iMessage.

How can I get a refund?
At mieSIM, we understand that our users may encounter unforeseen circumstances after making a purchase. Therefore, you can request a refund under the following circumstances:
– You bought the eSIM without verifying its compatibility with your phone.
– You cancelled your trip or you no longer need the eSIM.
– Our eSIMs generally work well, but if you experience connection problems, we can offer you a full or partial refund.
Once the refund is approved, you will receive the money in the same account you used to make the payment. This process may take between 5 and 10 business days.

Can I use my SIM card and my eSIM at the same time?
If you're using an Apple device, you can use your SIM card and your eSIM at the same time. Choose your SIM card for phone calls and SMS, and your Holafly eSIM for mobile data. Please remember that if you leave your SIM card activated, your network provider may apply data roaming charges for receiving or making phone calls, as well as SMS.
How can I remove the eSIM from my SIM card once I've used my data?
You don't need to remove the eSIM once you're finished using it. However, if you want to, you can do so by going to your phone's SIM card manager.
How many times can I use my eSIM card?
Once an eSIM is set up on a device, it can only be used on that device. If you delete the eSIM from your device, you may not be able to use it again even if you scan it again. You cannot scan the same QR code from two different devices.
How can I check how much data I have left?
To check your remaining data balance, log in to our mieSIM Center using the credentials we emailed you when you made your purchase. You can also check your data balance in your device's data settings.
When should I set up my eSIM?
You need Wi-Fi to set up your eSIM, so we recommend installing and activating it just before you leave. You can also wait until you reach your destination to activate the eSIM, but remember that you need a Wi-Fi connection beforehand for the setup process.
How do I set up the eSIM on my device?
After your purchase, we'll send a QR code to your email address. Scan the QR code or open it on your computer. On your phone, go to Settings > Cellular > Add data plan and scan the QR code. Your phone will allow you to set a specific name for this data plan. You can now switch between your MieSIM data plan and your original carrier plan. The MieSIM data plan will only work once you arrive at your destination. Once you land, enable data roaming in your phone's settings and activate the MieSIM data plan. Refer to your phone's user manual for more details on adding a data plan. All eSIM products come with complete setup instructions.
Can I share data with other devices?
Some MieSIM eSIMs have this feature enabled. Before purchasing, read the device description and check if it allows data sharing.
